Mr. Sanjay Mirchandani SVP and CIO, EMC Corporation Sanjay Mirchandani is Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of EMC Corporation. As Chief Information Officer, Sanjay is responsible for extending EMC's operational excellence, and driving technological innovations to meet the current and future needs of the business. Reporting to David Goulden, EMC's Chief Financial Officer, Sanjay also leads EMC's network of global delivery centers in India, China, Russia, Israel and Ireland. These centers support EMC's worldwide research and development efforts, provide customer support and shared services. Sanjay most recently served as Senior Vice President leading the EMC Office of Globalization. In this role he identified global growth opportunities and built the EMC processes and infrastructure required for global expansion. He was also responsible for bringing in new strategic international partners into EMC's Global Alliances program. Prior to joining EMC, Sanjay was Microsoft's Regional Vice President, Enterprise Services, Asia, where he worked with the region's largest customers and partners. He also held multiple management positions during his tenure with Microsoft, including President, Asia Pacific Region; President, South Asia; and Managing Director, India. Mirchandani earned a master's in business administration from the University of Pittsburgh and a bachelor's degree from Drew University. As an affiliate of the Advisory Board for Center for Emerging Markets, Northeastern University, Sanjay has helped in supporting the Center’s successful application for a US Department of Education grant and has been a featured speaker at our Emerging Markets Update event for the Greater Boston business community.
